Facebook Algorithms and E-commerce Photo Editing

Last fall, Pew Research Center asked 942 adults in E-Commerce Photo Editing the United States to log in to their Facebook page and go to a page that contains the Facebook advertising category. This is the Facebook Account section, which lists the categories that Facebook considers to be of interest to you, based on your behavior and characteristics on Facebook. The results have been summarized in a recently released survey, Facebook algorithm and E-Commerce Photo Editing personal data. Most digital marketers understand that online behavior is collected and categorized for advertising targeting. However, most common users may not know this and can easily access the profile information collected on Facebook's Ad Settings page.


In a Pew survey, 74% of Facebook users said they E-Commerce Photo Editing didn't know there was a list of their traits and interests until they moved to their page as part of this survey. When asked how exactly they think the list represents E-Commerce Photo Editing themselves and their interests, 59% of Facebook users say that the list is very (13%) or to some extent (46%) their interests. 27% of Facebook users say the list isn't very accurate (22%) or not at all (5%). " To gain more insight, we contacted Lee Rainey, director of Internet and E-Commerce Photo Editing technology research, who co-authored the research with Paul Hitlin at the Pew Research Center.
